The water park is incredible, but feeding a family of four inside the main towers will destroy your budget. Here is how we handled dinners without having to haul exhausted kids into a taxi.
The Proximity Win
After a full day in the sun on the water slides, Logan and Leah were completely wiped out. The absolute last thing any of us wanted to do was dress up and figure out transportation just to get a reasonably priced dinner. This is the second reason the Comfort Suites location is so clutch. You are directly across the street from a handful of independent restaurants and the Marina Village, where you can find casual food that doesn't carry the massive premium of the Atlantis dining rooms.

The Local Spots Across the Street
There are places right outside the Atlantis property lines, like Anthony's Seafood & Ribs, that cater exactly to families trying to avoid resort pricing. The portions are huge, meaning Lil and I could easily split an entree, and the vibe is casual enough that you don't have to stress about tired kids being perfectly quiet.
The Marina Village Stroll
While technically still part of the resort ecosystem, there are casual options like the pizzeria and burger joints that are much more manageable. Plus, it gives you a great evening activity: walking around looking at the massive yachts docked outside before grabbing a scoop of ice cream.
